Their version of Tip a Cop 2011.

  • It was a fun day. Many law enforcement officials helped in the event by putting their skills to use by waiting tables. People were greeted by the friendly "Head Elf" at the front of Outback Steakhouse, Doug McCumber. He had on his Sunday’s Best – Elf costume and he played the part like no other. The event was held to raise money for the upcoming "Shop with a Cop" event. Our first annual "Tip an Elf" luncheon raised approximately $1,100. Most of the money came from the 18 silent auction items that were strategically placed around the room for bidding. While the kids got into the spirit of having their pictures taken with larger than life Santa Claus and telling Santa what they wanted, the adults jumped into the action as well also telling Santa what they wanted.
